被回答问题的是我的父母，主要是父亲，母亲刚开口便罗嗦了，被父亲瞪了一眼回了屋子，张罗着女人们的事去了，耳朵朝向外面的动静不松开。 父亲一字一句应答着，门口的人边点头，父亲在每句话的后面总不忘诚恳地加一个“希望……” 镇政府赶集天才开门，一连三个礼拜后我们终于进了大门，要员堆满了笑，说小女之事早有所闻，正打算重办的，上级的指示辜负不得。我们在他们的指导下，将申请书修改了许多遍，材料复印了一大堆，方才回去等回音。 县政府那边也按程序办了，一切进展顺利之际，却因发现户口超生了一个而全部夭折。 一个疲惫的黄昏，我从山上回来，看见村口停满了小轿车，许多人围着小车看。 我走上小院时，看见一堆忙乱的身影，有机器闪得飞快，跳起来捕捉了几个我背着背篓、扛着锄头、赤脚而行的镜头。 村支书挡在前面，立即介绍说这是某处某官某人来关心你了。 我一一作了谢，镜头把我推到了椅子上，有一双双热情的手捧着一叠雪花花的人民币缓缓递到我手上，致辞响起，鞭炮噼里啪啦炸开了，小山村梦境般地沸腾了起来。 老朋友似的，我走到他身边。他插在裤兜里的手掏了东西递给我，“实在对不起，我现在只有一千五了，其他的打到学校的帐户上取不出来，你先拿着这点，它不够，再想点别的办法，你千万不可放弃。” 我一脸疑惑，“谁这么好心肠，帮我向你借的吗，我什么时间还？” “先别提这个，我去县团委时听说了你的情况，就要了你的电话找你来了，我们都是穷苦人家过来的孩子，也许上大学是唯一能改变命运的事，你不要更我计较金钱，我在州里比较好争取，就分些给你，都是国家和政府在帮助着的咱们，别分彼此，再说，钱是生不带来死不带去的东西，计较了又有什么用。”
